EXTRA RESEARCH: REMAKING A FILM POSTER

The inspiration for this poster came from the original 'Apollo 13' film poster. I used the conventions of a film poster to recreate my own version of the iconic film that was directed by Ron Howard back in 1995. Sticking to the science fiction genre, I used a font that would link in with the space theme.

Aside from the font relating to the genre of the film, I specifically chose this typeface since it portrays a feeling of uneasiness and isn't pleasant to the eyes if looked at for too long. This could relate to the intense plot of the film that is being advertised within the poster as it is a sci-fi thriller and is made to make the viewers feel on edge. 

For the credits, I used a font that is similar to the regular credits font so that it would be distinguishable and appropriate.
